Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in the Punta Cana/Bávaro area early in the morning (around 07:30). Travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the port of Bayahíbe, then board a boat (speedboat or catamaran) that carries you out across the Caribbean to Saona Island. Along the way you’ll stop at a “natural pool” in shallow turquoise water where you can wade, swim, and spot starfish. Once on Saona Island, you’ll have beach time to relax on the white sand, swim in the inviting sea, and soak up the sun. A buffet lunch of Dominican cuisine is served on the beach, and an open bar keeps the drinks flowing as you unwind. Later, on the return journey, enjoy music, dancing and drinks aboard the boat as you cruise back to Bayahíbe, then transfer back to your hotel in Punta Cana. The full experience is about one day, roughly 8-10 hours depending on your pickup location.
